Ravel & Unravel brand photo shoot for summer 2020 collection
One of my very first clients to hire me for branding photography was Mia who owns Ravel & Unravel and she owns a retail shop called The Circle. When I first shot with her she was based out of Seattle so it was easy to arrange shoots. She moved to Savannah, Georgia & started a new aspect of her brand along with opening an adorable retail shop. I was happy when she mentioned she wanted to ship me product and I could shoot it with a model & then ship everything back. Her new work has a lot of bright, pigment rich details to the dying process. The colors she chooses are always so well balanced. She also started making jewelry out of acrylic & even some tiny hand woven beaded items. Every item has so much care and detail to it. I really loved helping with the art direction of the shoot and making sure everything represented her brand well. One thing I love about working with small women owned businesses is that I can really see the impact my work can have on them. It’s so amazing to see the images elevating the website and social media presence. While some brands need more simple style images there are times when I get to come up with really unique art direction. I’d love to help more amazing makers showcase their art to the world. If you know of someone needing commercial photography please send them my way. Enjoy seeing what we got from this shoot and thank you for checking out my blog. Have a great day!
