Getting Inspired at Seattle Business Babes in person event-Finding the value in Business Babes Collective
I recently found a organization that is focused on woman owned businesses and collaboration. I had been connecting with Urban Craft Uprising and they shared about this company. Business Babes Collective was founded by Danielle. Her website says “Danielle Wiebe is a host of a top business podcast, and founder of Business Babes Collective, a global community that supports and connects women entrepreneurs and leaders. With over a decade of entrepreneurial experience, Danielle has become a seasoned expert in helping businesses scale and grow their community through the power of collaborations and events!

I found out that they were hosting an in person event in Seattle for the first time in a few years. I bought a ticket and showed up with 25 business magnet cards in hand. The event was held at the gorgeous 415 West Lake The event had plenty going on and lots of fun photo opportunitys. I started off the night with a mocktail and hopped in the photo booth.
Once I found a table with open seats I had the pleasure of meeting Alexa of Bright Eyes Creative . It was great to get to know both new friends at the table but also all over the event. I thought it was fun that the night included some “slightly forced” networking haha. We had fun prompts to find folks to chat with and get to know their business. I really enjoyed learning about the variety of businesses that were there and found some folks I knew online already as well.
One thing I was happy about was that one of the speakers was a content creator I had already been following for a few years. It was really nice to Emma Cortes Ellendt in person. I let her know that I was always happy that she shares fun photo locations on her socials. I feel like it helps not only new photographers but also folks like me who might want to mix up where they work.
After the meet and greet sessions we had the panel answer some Q & A led by Alisha Kumar who helped plan this event. It was a really lovely panel and I feel like everyone had some great bits of wisdom to impart. The woman who were on panel were:

Overall the night really was super encouraging to me. I left my day job almost a year ago and trying to run this business alone has been a struggle. I definitely miss some aspects of having coworkers to run things by. This night was really nice because I met women in my area that I can try and keep in touch with. I’ve even got a coffee meet planned with one person already.
I think finding a group of women who are also trying to do big things with their ideas and don’t have an ego about it is so refreshing. We are all trying to live our dreams and help each other along the way.

After the event in Seattle I decided to join an all day online conference held by Danielle & the Business Babes Collective. The day was mostly filled with insightful Q & A hosted by Danielle. The guest speakers covered so many different topics about entrepreneurism and the ways they moved their businesses forward. I got lots of great ideas and a huge to do list of ideas for my business from this day. I’m really glad I joined and I will definitely be keeping up with events from this company.

As you create your offer, make sure you deliver the quickest way to get from A>Z, from pain point to final solution.
Do check in’s halfway through your service and remind them of what’s happening and what’s coming up.
Check in at offboarding, remind them what to do etc. Send free resources, then collect feedback
Be intentional, improve the experience beyond what others do.
Direct message automation on IG is helpful.
Remind them as the journey is almost ending, Do you know anyone else this could benefit?
Email marketing is your VIP and IG is your general audience and how folks find you.
Give deeper value in emails than you can in short form.
Get an email app to know if your email is getting opened.
